The local performance of reunion tour of The Monkees, originally scheduled to stop at the Times Union Center in Albany, has been moved to the Palace Theatre. The time and day remain the same: 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 9. The change was prompted by “unforeseen circumstances,” according to a news release from the Palace.

Tickets purchased for the arena must be exchanged for a seat at the Palace. For information on how to exchange tickets, call the Palace box office during regular business hours at 465-4663.

Tickets for the 45th anniversary tour of The Monkees — featuring Peter Tork, Micky Dolenz and Davy Jones — cost $35, $45 and $55. Tickets are available at the Palace box office (19 Clinton Ave., Albany), via Ticketmaster Charge-by-Phone at (800) 745-3000, all Ticketmaster outlets or online.
