The Genius of Stan Freberg: Celebrating 70 Years of Creative Entertainment

Celebrate 70 hilarious years of creative entertainment with the great Stan Freberg, the legendary comedian, satirist and cultural pioneer who has made a lasting impact on the worlds of comedy recording (“Stan Freberg Presents The United States of America” and creator of the word “Grammy”), animation (over 400 voiceovers for Warner Bros.), television (“Time for Beany,” “The Chun King Comedy Hour”), and advertising (father of the funny commercial and winner of 21 Clio Awards).

Hosted by Harry Shearer (“The Simpsons,” “Le Show”), the evening will include tributes and live performances from some of Stan’s best friends and greatest admirers (“Weird Al” Yankovic, Micky Dolenz, Jerry Beck and Eric Goldberg, among others), along with rare clips from his impressive body of work. Capping off the evening will be a lively conversation between Stan and his wife and partner, Hunter Freberg. Join John and Marsha, the Lone Ranger, St. George and the Dragonet, Christopher Columbus, and all of your Freberg favorites for an unforgettable night.
