Since his days with The Monkees, Michael Nesmith has always had a stand-offish stance toward media interviews. He did not care to be asked the same old questions over and over again, and often gave short, curt answers to the interviewer. However, in 1999, he took a liking to one particular interviewer, Chicago’s Jonathon Brandmeier. The two ended up talking for almost a half hour. Although the audio quality is not the best, here is the entire interview with Johnny B, Buzz Kilman & Mike Nesmith from WCKG-FM. (Running time: 26:21)
