I was in line at the supermarket tonight and I was quite surprised to see a
picture of The Monkees on a magazine cover!
The magazine is called “ROCK secrets & scandals”. This is the “Special
Collectors Edition”, dated March 14, 2000.
The article is a “Whatever happened to…” kind of article and includes a
picture of very young looking Monkees, a “Justus”-era picture, and about
1/3 of a page of text.
I just read the article and it is amazing how much inaccurate information
they manage to include in this one short article. But hey, it was still fun
to find the Monkees on a magazine cover. : )
