I read on a.m.m. that Rhino is planning
to release “Monkees Music Box”, and decided
to go to the site to see if there was
any more info. It’s planned to be released
by February 13 (Peter’s Birthday!), and that’s
all which is mentioned on this collection.
I wonder if it’s going to be like the Anthology revamped.

Micky was on the Chicago oldies station, 104.3, on Halloween morning. They
were having “celebrity Frankensteins,” which consisted of having celebrities
say, “It’s alive! It’s alive!” in goofy Frankenstein voices. (And then
people would call up and guess the identity for prizes.) The sample, or
demonstation, Frankenstein, turned out to be Micky. (Doing “It’s alive!”
with gusto; I couldn’t tell at all who it was!) Then the deejay explained
who it was, and there was a clip where he said something like, “Hi, this is
Micky Dolenz for the Halloween… thing. It’s alive! It’s alive!”

It was funny!
